At Purple, we're always looking for smarter, more effective ways to get things done. To help our developers stay ahead, we recently hosted a hands-on AI workshop with industry experts František Dalecký and Vojtěch Gintner.

We already use Cursor AI regularly, but this workshop showed us some exciting new ways to integrate AI even deeper into our daily work. The focus was on practical, high-impact workflows: from drafting precise technical specs to automating coding tasks.

The session kicked off with a quick look at current AI tools and how they're directly relevant to our stack. Then, Vojtech guided us through interactive demos, highlighting best practices for writing clear prompts and effectively using AI across IDEs, agents, and MCP servers.

One highlight was seeing Cursor, Linear, and GitHub work seamlessly together. We watched AI automatically transform tasks from Linear into ready-to-review code and create pull requests without missing a beat.

We ended on a high note with Devin AI, which impressed everyone by smoothly handling the entire development flow: from initial task assignment straight to generating a fully ready pull request on GitHub.

It was a hands-on, energizing and inspiring day that gave our team a clear look at how AI is changing the way we build. This was just a first step. Now we’re focused on putting what we learned into real projects and seeing what actually works. Stay tuned for more updates!
